Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB) was incorporated on 21 August 1997 and was operational by May 1998. The initial objective for its establishment was to provide low cost houses to Malaysian citizens. However, SPNB has now widened its horizons to play a significant role in ensuring the successful implementation of the National Housing Policy.
